About the Role :
We are hiring an Electrical Technician for an excellent overseas job opportunity in Singapore. The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment as assigned by the project supervisor.
You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other technical workers to ensure electrical work is completed safely and according to project requirements. Key Responsibilities :
Electrical Installation & Maintenance:
Install electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, switches, sockets, and related equipment
Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems
Identify electrical faults and perform necessary troubleshooting and repairs
Assist in testing electrical equipment and circuits before operation
Replace damaged or defective electrical components where required
Read and follow basic electrical drawings, layouts, and technical instructions
Safety, Testing & Quality:
Follow electrical safety procedures and workplace safety requirements
Use electrical tools, testing instruments, and safety equipment correctly
Ensure completed work meets required technical and quality standards
Report electrical faults, equipment damage, or safety concerns to supervisors
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in proper condition
Site Coordination & Compliance:
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians during project work
Follow company procedures, project instructions, and applicable Singapore workplace regulations
Complete assigned electrical work within required project timelines
Support emergency repair and maintenance activities when required
Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct at the worksite
Qualification
ITI or Diploma, Min. 4 – 5 years of experience in installs, maintains and repairs electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
Read and follow blueprints, technical diagrams and schematics
Install new wiring, lighting, control systems and circuit breaker panels
Inspect electrical components like transformers and switches for safety and wear
Repair or replace damaged, old or broken electrical parts
