About the Role:
We are hiring experienced Plaster Masons / Skim Coat Workers for an overseas construction opportunity in Singapore. The selected candidates will prepare surfaces, mix plastering materials, apply plaster and skim coats, and produce smooth, even finishes on walls and ceilings.
You will work according to site measurements, construction requirements, and supervisor instructions while maintaining proper workmanship and safety standards. This role provides a strong opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking for Singapore plastering jobs.
Key Responsibilities :
Plastering & Surface Preparation:
Prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces before plastering work
Remove dirt, loose materials, and uneven sections before application
Mix cement, plaster, and other materials to the required consistency
Apply plaster evenly to walls and ceilings using appropriate tools
Perform skim coat application to achieve smooth and level surfaces
Repair cracks, damaged plaster, holes, and uneven areas where required
Finishing & Quality Control:
Level and smooth plastered surfaces according to project specifications
Check wall and ceiling alignment before and after plastering
Ensure plaster thickness and finishing quality meet site requirements
Minimise material wastage during plastering and skim coat work
Maintain clean edges around doors, windows, corners, and joints
Report surface defects or construction issues to the site supervisor
Site Safety & Coordination:
Follow construction site safety procedures and company instructions
Use plastering tools, ladders, scaffolding, and protective equipment safely
Coordinate with painters, masons, carpenters, and other site workers
Keep tools and work areas clean and properly organised
Follow applicable Singapore workplace and construction regulations
Complete assigned work according to project schedules and supervisor instructions

Qualification
Min. 4 – 5 years of experience in applies and finishes layers of plaster,
joint compound or cement to interior and exterior walls and ceilings,
Clean walls, fill cracks, scrape old flaking paint or damaged plaster, and apply bonding agents or primers
Apply thin, uniform layers of joint compound or finishing plaster over drywall, brick or old plaster to create a flawless, uniform plane
Blend plaster, gypsum or cement I compounds with accurate water ratios to achieve optimal working consistency
