Minimum 5 years of experience as a Granite/Stone Polisher
Assisting the lead Stone Polisher in grinding, smoothing and polishing stone surfaces (granite, marble, sandstone) using hand-held grinders, polishing machines, angle grinders and abrasive discs of varying grit
Applying polishing compounds and sealants by hand using brushes and buffing pads
Cleaning and preparing stone surfaces prior to polishing
Moving and positioning stone slabs using manual handling equipment (trolleys, suction lifters)
Maintaining a clean and safe working area, washing down machines and tools after use
The work is physically demanding and requires sustained manual effort in a production environment
